New CALM Dryland on Your Own For those of you who are unable to participate with the group or would prefer to workout on your own, our dryland plans may be accessed here. PDF’s of last week’s workouts are attached to this email.
New Get Ready for Upper Body Strength! The coaches will begin adding upper body exercises to our workouts. You may benefit from additional (optional) gear:
- In most cases, household items will work great (e.g. canned goods, gallon jugs)
- 2-5 lb dumbbells will be even more effective if you have a set or are willing to purchase a pair
- Resistance cords with handles are recommended for some upper body & shoulder stability workouts with Coach Gaku. We like Stroops Toners the most. ‘Very light’ to ‘medium’ strength cords will be best for what we’ve got planned. Stroops and similar items can be found on Amazon or other online retailers.
