Mon Sep 2 Labor Day Workouts
We will run Holiday Schedule on Mon Sep 2 in observance of Labor Day. No evening workout
- Morning 7,8,9am at GB
- Midday 11am at Spieker
Sat Sep 7 Pool Cleaning, No Workouts
Due to requisite pool cleaning at GB, there will be no CALM Workouts Sat Sep 7 at GB. Pool will be closed Fri Sep 6 9:00am through Mon Sep 9 6:00am. We apologize for the inconvenience
Tue-Thu Sep 10,11,12 Swim Club Trial Workouts
CALM & the Swim Club will host Trial Workouts for prospective new swimmers at our Evening workouts (6pm) on Tue Sep 10, Wed Sep 11, Thu Sep 12 at GB. We anticipate large crowds for these three workouts and that numbers will spread out over the following weeks.
Sat Sep 21, 6-9pm “Welcome Back” Social
Saturday evening – look forward to CALM’s first social event of the school year at Sarah S’s near Whole Foods in Oakland. Bring snacks and beverages to share! Here’s a link to the eVite:
Sun Sep 22 Mt View SCM Meet
Congratulations Lauren Au!
CALM teammate Lauren Au swam 21 miles across the Catalina Channel in 10 hr, 48 min to complete her Triple Crown (English Channel, Manhattan, Catalina) last week. So awesome!
Advisory Board Elections

USMS Adult Learn-To-Swim Volunteers
CALM is seeking volunteers to work with Learn-To-Swim participants this Fall. Instructors will be provided with a curriculum by US Masters Swimming. Classes are expected to take place after Sat Morning workouts and possibly in the morning during the week. You can help save someone’s life! - Sun LCM 8:15-9:45am at Spieker select weekends only, Fall dates TBA

CALM will host LCM 8:15-9:45am at Spieker on the following dates:

- $10 drop-in fee for guests
- Please arrive 15 min early to help with lane lines!
